It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lorraine. She leaves behind her husband Dr. Mike Tyler, her sons Jason Hale, Gord Hale, daughter Paige Tyler and stepsons Paul and Kevin Tyler and several grandchildren, brothers, Robert, Albert and Paul Phaneuf, and sisters Marianne Taylor and Rosemarie Lee.
Lorraine is predeceased by her Father Robert Phaneuf (1977) and her Mother Marie Phaneuf (2012).
Lorraine was unwell for a couple of years prior to her passing. Before her illness Lorraine had a full and vibrant life with family, pets, pottery, drawing, painting, sewing, gardening and travel.
In her early adult life Lorraine helped build a home in Sunshine Bay.
Lorraine worked in Land Titles office in Nelson for several years.
Lorraine moved to Nanaimo and worked as a medical transcriptionist, until her daughter Paige was born.
Lorraine and Mike had an adventurous several years living and working in Australia and Abu Dhabi in the UAE. After returning to Canada they lived in Prince George and Vernon and finally retiring to Kelowna.
She is sadly missed by those close to her. No service will be held in respect of her wishes.
At a planned family reunion in the summer of 2022 we will celebrate her life with memories, photos and stories.
