With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lucille Eugenie Lauriente (Marchessault), who was surrounded by her loving family on March 24, 2024.
Born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan on March 31, 1941, she later met and married the love of her life, Donald, in Trail, BC. Together, they raised five children: Katherine (Lynn James), Patrick (Tracy), Rebecca, Victoria, and Anna. Their home was always filled with love and laughter.
Her grandchildren Erica (Oktawian), Teagan, Tanna, Stephan, Madeline, Sophia, and triplets Arnold, Lucas, and Nico, and great-grandsons Owen, Mason, and Liam were also blessed by her love and dedication.
Lucille's legacy is immeasurable. To know her was truly a gift and although our time spent with such an extraordinary soul ended too soon, she will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us forward. Rest easy Maman, until we meet again.
A celebration of her life will be held on August 24, 2024, at Cathedral of Mary Immaculate in Nelson at 11:00.
