It is with broken hearts, the family of Margaret Garrett (nee Campese) announce her passing at 53 years of age on June 6, 2018 from cancer. Her beloved husband Kelly Garrett, best friend Tammy & family were at her side.
Margaret was born on October 3, 1964 in Nelson, BC; the most beautiful place on earth to Margaret.
A love story began when Margaret and Kelly married on June 30, 1990 in Nelson, BC. They resided in Calgary, AB and Duncan, BC but their love of Nelson, especially to Margaret where she was born, raised & educated brought them back to her childhood home.
Margaret touched everyone she met with her beautiful eyes and infectious smile.
Her Love of Family, Love of Friendship and Love of Laughter will forever be her legacy.
Margaret is survived by the love of her life, Kelly. Also left to mourn her brothers, Sam (Linda), Joe (Emma), Bruno (Maria) and sister Dolores (Randy) Brieter. Kelly's siblings, Sharlene (Glen), Howard (Brenda), Barbara (Michael), Colleen, Bev, Sue-Marie (Bruce).
Margaret was adored by her Campese & Garrett nieces, nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews. She was treasured by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from the Campese, Chirico, Garrett & Ellis families.
Predeceased by an infant sister, her loving parents Antonio & Carmela Campese and in-laws William & Mabel Garrett, cherished Aunts, Uncles, Nonno's and Noona's.
Her beloved 4-legged little girl, Maddie will be forever by her side.
Margaret's celebration of life was held on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 at the Bethel Christian Center.
She was a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed by her family & friends.
Our hearts are lifted knowing she is finally at peace.
