August 26, 1931 - March 31, 2022
Mike was born August 26, 1931, in Brilliant. He spent his early life in the Passmore and Sproule Creek areas. Mike began his working life early, making his way north and working in the oil fields and the logging industry. He was a very skilled faller.
Mike loved animals and enjoyed all things outdoors - hunting and fishing, picking mushrooms and huckleberries, and gathering firewood. He was so very friendly and loved to stop for a chat and enjoyed many coffee gatherings with friends.
Mike's final few years were spent at Mountain Lakes Care Home in Nelson. He was predeceased by his partner Betty, his mother and father, his brother John and his sisters Polly and Louise.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews, stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
We will all miss him. Mike requested cremation and no service. Heavenly Kingdom.
