We are sad to announce on June 2nd that at the age of 89 we had to say goodbye to Milt Goddard.
Milt was born in Trail BC and did his schooling in Trail until University where he then went to Moscow Idaho to get his degree. After university, Milt got a provincial government job on Vancouver island where he met the love of his life Donna Kay. They were married in 1955 in Port Alberni and several years later got transfered to Nelson with 2 small children to begin their adventure in the Kootenays where they loved. So from 1962 to 2015 they lived at 9 mile with 5.5 acres , 29 rockeries, 3 ponds, and a beautiful heavenly santuary they created.Milt and Donna have the most amazing friends in Nelson and have missed them so much but had to move to be taken care of. Milt was known for his amazing sense of humor and love of life and his leadership. He loved helping people and left many legacies and mentorships to others. He is predeceased by both is parents Harry and Inez Goddard. He is survived by his adoring wife Donna Kay and his daughter and son in law Debbie and ken Schneider and grandchild and we miss him dearly
