Orvil James Myers passed away Saturday March 16, with his wife Florence, daughter Heather and friend Pat beside him. Orvil and Florence moved to the Kootenays 11 years ago to be closer to Heather, living in Thrums, then in Nelson at Lakeview Village and Mountain Lakes Seniors Community. He was a quiet, humorous man, who loved building and working with his hands. There will be no funeral service, but a reception will be held March 29 to appreciate his life.
