In Loving Memory (1930-2024) ~

Philip Arthur Marquardt born July 6th, 1930, in Bassano, Alberta, Canada. He met his wife Lily Olga Hlushko while they attended Drumheller High School together. We were married October 28th, 1950, in Edmonton, Alberta where they began their life and started a family together. The family includes:

7 children - Peggy Diane (D.R. deceased), Richard Philip (Ft. St. James), Randolph Scott (Mesa, Arizona), Douglas Brian (Nelson - deceased), David Bruce (Maple Ridge), Darrell William (Calgary), Neil Arthur (Pitt Meadows).

10 Grand children - Dawn, Raymond, Jason, Dennis, Tanya, David Jr, Mathew, Valerie, Kelly, and Zane; 14 Great Grand children - Nickalas, Danielle, Christina, Daniel, Tyson, Justin, David, Taylor, Brayden, Keynnan, Gage, Kate, Abby, and Grace and 1 Great Great grandchild Kaylee.

Philip was an accountant with CP Rail for 36 years and had many interests including swimming, golf, carpentry, gardening, fishing, hiking, cadets, baseball, bowling, curling, treasure hunting, darts, ping pong, cards, pool, Genealogy, Internet Research, Photography, Numismatics, and travelling.

Over the years he included 19 World Tours in his adventures and was proud to say that the most interesting and loving times in his life were spent with his adventurous and caring wife Lily.

There will be no service at Philip's request.
