Richard was born on April 11, 1939 in Toronto Ontario and passed away at the Mountain Lakes Seniors Community August 24, 2020 in Nelson British Columbia.
He was predeceased by his mother Celine Bennett, his father Jack Bennett and sister Susan Bennett.
Richard is survived by his cousins Stephen, Lorne, and Mark Salem, Tami and Carol Baker and Hilde Slauteroff, his niece Jordanna Bennett and nephew Rob Bennett.
Richard was laid to rest in the Nelson Memorial Cemetery on September 3, 2020 with a graveside service.
