November 28, 1947 - January 13, 2020
Richard Trowbridge age 72, died on Jan 13, 2020, in Nelson, BC. Rick is survived by his former spouse Mary Grosjean of Nelson; his son Josh, of Nelson; and his daughter, Gen, of Saanich. He is survived by his sisters Yvonne, his sister, Irene, and his nieces and nephews, of Fla. As well as his grandchildren Corbin, Uriah, Catalina, Ayla & Sierra.
Rick was born on Nov. 28th in Miami, US, to parents William and Catalina. He attended business college in USA and Mexico City. In 1969 he moved to ON, Canada, where he worked as a carpenter.
Rick was a great family man and a loving father. He married Mary in 1972 and the couple had 2 children together.
Rick was a social, active man who was deeply involved in art for the majority of his life. He enjoyed painting, sculpting, leather, jewellery, drum & rattle making, books, collecting, gemstones, travel and gardening. His family and friends will always remember him as an unique, generous, eccentric, knowledgeable person.
He is missed.
A private family service is scheduled for July at Josh's. The family would like to thank the nurses at Trail Hospital for care in the last 13 yrs.
