Robert (Bob) Herbert Jerome, formerly of Nelson and long-time employee of Kelly Douglas Co., passed away peacefully at home, outside of Cranbrook with his family by his side on Friday, October 12, 2018.
Bob was born November 28, 1931 in Trail, B.C., the youngest of 4 children to Herbert Jerome and Thelma Gustina Johnson.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Eve, of 65 years, daughter Pennie (Don) Johnston, sons Mark, Tom (Debbie) Hewitt, Carl (Marilyn) and Kevin, 13 grandchildren, 9 (plus #10 on the way) great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandson with soon to be a #2. Sisters Eve Carter, Dot Morris and Fran (Chuck) Colpitts as well as numerous nieces and nephews
He was pre-deceased by his oldest son, Ric, his brother Carl, both his parents, his in laws Dick and Mabel O'Neil and brother in laws Bill Carter and Jack Morris.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Friday, October 26 at 2:00 pm, in Cranbrook, B.C. .
