In Loving Memory ~
Roberta Jean Woodward "Bobbi", 57, passed away unexpectedly on December, 29, 2021.
Our beautiful, vibrant, strong friend has left us way too soon.
Bobbi is survived by her brother Wayne Turley and stepsons Justin Hirata and Codie Hirata. She was predeceased by her Dad, Larry Woodward.
She leaves behind her beloved partner Jenn Fiset, Aza and Ahma Hofmann, dog Beau, and many friends that so loved and adored her.
Bobbi enjoyed all things outdoors. She loved an adventure, traveling, fishing and scuba diving. She spent more time outdoors than in. Camping with Jenn in their MoHo, kayaking the lakes and rivers with her friends, quadding with her MainJet family and just simply enjoying her own back yard, pool and garden were a few of her favorite things.
Bobbi grew up in beautiful Kaslo, B.C. She loved Kaslo and all the people she grew up with there, many of them she considered family. She played hockey, learned how to ride horses, and played ball. Bobbi loved and appreciated all of her friends from far and wide, so much!
Bobbi was a hard worker. She moved to the coast in her early 20s. She became a well known face in the 4 x 4 world, from Vancouver to California and beyond, working at Sport Trucks for over 20 years. You could ask her anything about trucks!
When she left the coast to come back to the Kootenays, she got her job at MainJet. Bobbi was so happy to be back "home", so excited and slightly nervous because as she said she knew Nothing about quads, sleds or motorbikes, she was a truck girl! Of course it wasn't long and she was as familiar with them as she was with trucks, and became an important fixture at MainJet. She loved her job, and the team at MainJet have become like family to her over the past 12+ years. Bobbi bought herself a beautiful home in Krestova, and became friends with many of her neighbors and people in the area. She had such a great time with Jenn this past Halloween, decorating her place and handing out candy to the locals. She was excited to do it again next year.
Bobbi had a good time, all the time! She Loved nothing more than hanging with her friends, having a few Old Style Pils or G and Ts, laughing, singing, dancing and letting loose.
We will all remember her as the life of the party, the last to be awake, keeping the fire burning, she was our light in the dark, and always, always let us know how much she loved us!
She will be deeply deeply missed. A large piece of our life puzzle, gone forever, but never ever forgotten!
Our hearts ache for you Bobbi! We miss you so! Rest In Peace, and yes, we will see you on the other side!
