A Life and a Legacy ~
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday May 21 at the Cathedral of Mary Immaculate in Nelson for local historian Ron Welwood who passed away November 21, 2021, exactly six months ago.
The church service will be followed by a brief gravesite service at the Nelson Cemetery. Ron collaborated with other West Kootenay artists in creating a Heritage Walking Tour of the Cemetery in the city he so loved and honoured.
Friends and family are very welcome to attend both services.
