It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Loreen Paulett (formerly Shirley Stroh). Aged 57 (1957-2014).
Surrounded by her close family, and a lovely vista of rolling morning fog and falling autumn leaves, Shirl passed away peacefully on Thursday October 16th, 2014, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Shirley is survived by numerous friends and family who will miss her bright and beautiful soul in their day-to-day lives. Up to her last moments, Shirley remained open, loving, generous and continually grateful for all of the love and support from her community on this journey, and for the simplest of things in her life.
A memorial service, and celebration of Shirley’s life and her relationships, is being held on October 21st at 10:30 AM at Thompson’s Funeral Home, 613 Ward Street, Nelson BC. A reception is to follow at the United Church on the corner of Josephine and Silica Street, Nelson, BC.
