In Loving Memory ~
Therese (Teresa), long-time resident of Nelson, B.C., passed peacefully at Mountain Lakes Senior Care Home with loved ones at her side.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert, and son-in-law Ross.
She is survived by her four daughters; Jo-Anne (Chris), Sandra (Dale), Allyn and Michele (Darren) and by her grandchildren; Selina, Alex, Dan, Travis, and Jeremy and also by Jeremy's dad Ray.
Teresa was full of fun and was a very active lady. She loved camping, especially at Christina and Kootenay Lakes. She took up skiing (both downhill and cross-country) and golf later in life. She also loved her animals and had many dogs and cats over the years.
Teresa worked at Kootenay Lake Hospital for many years, retiring in 1988. She and Albert enjoyed their retirement and loved wintering in Arizona.
The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring staff at Mountain Lakes for their excellent care of our mom in her final years.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday May 3rd, 2024, at 10:30 am at the Cathedral of Mary Immaculate, 813 Ward St, Nelson, BC, with an interment to follow at the Nelson Memorial Park Cemetery.
