With profound sadness we announce the loss of our beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend. Vondilene Dixon, the oldest of 6 children was born April 24, 1966 in Toronto, Ontario. She moved to Nelson in 1989 where she married and gave birth to her cherished son Ryan Schwartz. Despite lifelong challenges and struggles with her health, Vondilene’s last two years were spent focused on reclaiming wellness and embracing life again. Long walks and time spent strengthening her body at the gym brought the spark back into her eyes. Sadly due to unexpected health complications she passed with family by her side in Trail hospital July 17, 2017. She is predeased by her father Raymond Wesemann. A private celebration of life will take place with family and close friends.
