November 18, 1945 - July 9, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad William (Bill) Potapoff. Dad passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 9, 2019. He was born in Krestova, BC on November 18th, 1945 to parents Fred and Mary Potapoff who are predeceased.
Seeing that Dad was an accomplished Heavy-duty Mechanic, his passion was vehicle restoration, traveling on his beloved Harley, watching movies and taking trips to Ainsworth with his grandsons, and making wine. Dad was always there to lend a helping hand, especially when it came to mechanics.
Left to mourn his loss are his daughters, Lisa (Randy) Vandekerkhove, Teresa (Derrick) te Boekhorst, his grandchildren Hunter, Nicholas, Bear (Derrick), and sisters Violet (Duncan) Campbell, Elaine (Ray) Friesen and numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
At Dad's request, there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at a later date.
Thank you to Dr. Miske, all the third floor nurses, and Interior Health for all their help, support and kindness.
