William Edward Parker was born on May 15, 1935 in Nelson BC and passed away on May 25, 2021 in Vancouver.
Bill was the son of Adeline and Robert Parker. He is survived by two sisters and a daughter. Bill graduated from Nelson High School in 1953 and went on to study at the University of British Columbia, ultimately earning a Masters in Library Science.
With the exception of working a short time at the University of Toronto he spend his entire career at the UBC Woodward Biomedical Library. His hobbies included stamp collecting, bowling, lawn bowling, nature photography, bridge, gardening, pickle ball and lapidary projects to name a few!
