WINNIE POZNIKOFF It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Winnie Poznikoff of Nelson BC, who passed away July 7, 2010 at the age of 84. Winnie (Zaitsoff)was born in Champion Creek September 27, 1925. She married John Poznikoff May 20, 1958. Winnie leaves behind her sons Ed (Judy) of Castlegar and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Winnie was predeceased by her husband John in 1982. Winnie loved her gardening and her Bingo nights with the ladies. Her crandchildren and great-grandchildren will especially miss their "Baba Days" on Sunday for pancakes. The Funeral was held at the Thompson Funeral Home, July 9, 2010, followed by internment at Nelson Memorial Park Cemetery and a small gathering at her home. Winnie will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. We would like to thank Thompson Funeral Home and all those who sent flowers, food, and the many cards, The Poznikoff and Berisoff Families.
