Born in Dresden, Germany, Wolfgang passed away peacefully in his 90th year at Mtn Lakes Senior Home in Nelson where he was well looked after and loved for nearly 5 years.

Wolfgang immigrated to Canada in 1951 and shortly after arriving, became a long-time resident of Salmo, where he worked for CDN Exploration as a Miner and later at nearly all of the BC Hydro Dams. Wolfgang loved to tell and write a good story or joke and have a laugh.  He also loved to travel and learn, spending 15 winters based in Tucson during his retirement.

Many thanks and sincere appreciation to Dr. Janz, all the Staff at Mtn. Lakes, particularly of Diamond Cottage and the Kitchen, for his care.

Wolfgang is sadly missed, but his kind, adventurous spirit and sense of humour lives on. Aufwiedersehen.
