In your article on the cuts to KSA last week, I was quoted as saying there would be ‘a little less work for each instructor’. This quote was based on misinformation, and I would like to apologize to those who I hurt with that statement. The cuts to KSA will see eight of 19 current instructors laid off. The average instructor there will see a reduction of over 40 per cent in his or her work. This is obviously more than ‘a little less work’.
I should have been better informed before making that statement and apologize for the callousness of the remarks.
