CBC needs more funding, not less

It is unfortunate that this government decided to cut the CBC with a further 10 per cent.

It is unfortunate that this government decided to cut the CBC with a further 10 per cent.

CBC is what keeps this huge country together and keeps us informed of what is happening across Canada. Because the media is held in so few hands there is a tendency to only give one aspect of the news and quite often this is somewhat biased. The CBC gives us a balanced view of what is happening in Canada. In smaller communities the CBC is also a lifeline as it often is the only available source for news.

Why not increase the amount so that we can continue to hear unbiased reporting through the CBC.
