I love our new cultural ambassador, Anne DeGrace
Her list is an inspiration for us all to embrace the place we live. As an out-of-towner, Nelson is my biggest shopping centre for most essentials like food etc. For the past few years, I’ve been happy to do the majority of my Christmas gift shopping there, as well as during the year! Kaslo also boasts great shops to wander through and support.
Shopping becomes a pleasure instead of a chore, in our small towns and villages.
Let’s hear it for Anne’s cultural things to do, to embrace the arts and culture of this area. Try to do at least five out of 10 of it by summer!
