As surgeons providing service to the Kootenay Boundary we remain committed to providing the best possible surgical care for people of the entire region. We would invite Dr. Piver, and other physicians who are committed to improving patient care, to bring their concerns up with their representatives on the “Shared Care” committee.
This is a newly formed group of physicians including both GPs and specialists from Trail and Nelson, who are meeting regularly to try and work through some of these complex issues.
Let’s continue to think regionally and work together rather than fight amongst ourselves.
