Filling in the gaps with the mill accident

Re: “Accident closes Meadow Creek Cedar,” March 10

I am the person that got injured on March 4. I am experienced in the sawmill (next time please do the homework before you say that I don’t have experience).

I got my hand caught in the chain and sprocket because a maintenance man didn’t replace the guard after working on that machine.

It is now almost four months later and my hand is still in a cast. I lost my pinky, half my ring finger and my middle finger might get cut off if it doesn’t fuse by July 14.

Anyhow I just wanted to clear that up. I thank you for your time.
