HUGS AND SLUGS: Excited to see Matilda the Musical

But slugs to memorial benches in poor condition

SLUGS: To the folks we followed down the trail to the lake. You seemed like lovely people until you thought we weren’t there and then disparaged and mocked our visitor. Not everyone is privileged enough to have easy access to safe clean water for swimming, and by the way, he is a good swimmer. Check your privilege.

HUGS: To the cast and crew of Matilda. It’s been a lot of fun and I can’t wait to see the finished product.

SLUGS: To the people responsible for the commemorative benches in Lakeside Park. Many of the benches have so much peeled paint and so many other symptoms of disrepair and neglect that they dishonour those whom they intend to honour.

HUGS: Big hug to the staff at the Nelson Public Library for their helpfulness and friendly manner while being helpful.

SLUGS: To the big party by Salmo for saying you will have Sunday tickets but then did not.

SLUGS: To those city workers who idle the city vehicle with the windows rolled down while outside watering or weeding. What’s the point? Maybe the city will adopted that bylaw for their employees?
