HUGS AND SLUGS: Hugs to postal staff

But slugs to bad drivers

HUGS: To the merchants in Nelson for their wonderful Christmas decorations in the windows — from bears making cookies, a polar bear watching the penguins, a snow princess, the train running around the village full of mice and many more hidden delights. My grandchildren had a wonderful adventure looking for them. Thank you for bringing Christmas happiness into their lives.

HUGS: To the Post office staff during this extremely busy time of year. Thank you.

SLUGS: And free driving lessons to those horrible drivers who can’t drive in their own lane when going around bends in the road. Sober up, put down the phone and stop looking at yourself in the mirror. You are going to kill someone with your terrible driving.

SLUGS: To whoever found a clarinet with a name and phone number on it and failed to return it. There is a $100 reward at the police station if you want to turn it around!

HUGS: To the person who put up the coyote warning sign on Rail Trail!
