HUGS: To everyone who helped and those who participated in the Remembrance Day service.

HUGS: To the employees at Balfour Landfill who make this chore somewhat enjoyable. Especially like playing name that tune and the recycle bins.

SLUGS: To the developer on Pine Street who tore down a gorgeous craftsman home to build even more ugly townhouses.

SLUGS: To the stores that voluntarily adhere to the Scanner Price Accuracy Code (if the shelf/advertised price is less than that in the till, the customer gets the item free if under $10 or $10 off if more) but attempt to make their customers out to be the bad guys.

HUGS: To the City of Nelson for paving the Lakeside Park Trail and making it more accessible to all users! Looking forward to the paving continuing the rest of the way!

SLUGS: To the dark green car that almost hit me at the four-way stop at the bottom of Baker Street on Nov. 18. You were bearing down on me and turned at the last second, and had the nerve to wave! I wish I had pounded on the hood of your car. Maybe it would have woken you up!
