HUGS AND SLUGS: Six Mile isn’t a race track

Also, a local doctor gets praise and a slug to dog owners, because of course

OK, so it isn’t exactly rally racers driving down Six Mile Road. But slow down anyway! Photo courtesy Chris Daley Photography

HUGS: To Dr. Lee MacKay for treating your patients with the utmost respect and compassion. You are a gem.

SLUGS: To the stunt driver racing up and down a Six Mile residential road. You are a road hazard and spraying gravel hitting other vehicles is mischief. Decrease your speed or an increase of door knocking will occur.

HUGS: To the city for creating secure bike parking in the parkade, making it easier to bike around town and avoid starting the cars! Might be time to expand as the waitlist grows and is over six months long and counting.

SLUGS: To irresponsible dog owners who leave the doo behind and who let their big dogs jump up at small children. It might look like playing to you, but to a small kid it’s scary. Leash and pick up after please!
