HUGS: A huge gigantic hug to the lovely couple who very generously paid for our dinner at Jackson's Hole on Aug. 9. Your amazing gesture left my wife and I astonished! We will never forget your kindness.
HUGS: To the friendly guy loading cars at the Kootenay Bay ferry terminal. You always make my trip better!
HUGS: To all of the local drinking establishments that work with Team Consent to ensure their staff and clientele are safe. But SLUGS to the one bar in town that won't let Team Consent in their space. This speaks volumes to how they treat people.
SLUGS: To the constant smokers and dog owners at Lakeside. Leave the children alone.
HUGS: Happy hugs to the sweet person or persons who noticed me dining alone at Chances Casino and paid my dinner bill up ahead. Such a pleasant surprise that I will attempt to pay forward when I have the opportunity.
SLUGS: To the filthiest corner in Nelson. On Nelson Ave. and Davies, there is always lots of trash, wrappers, butts and assorted miscellaneous garbage. There are a number of businesses under one roof and their customers use the sidewalk and boulevard as a garbage can! Clean it everyday, not once a month.
HUGS: A grateful hug to the gentleman who helped my grandson and I when we went to Cottonwood Lake in the early morning to fish. Without him we’d still be there trying to get our rods sorted out.
