HUGS: To my former neighbour who let me know that I am missed in the neighbourhood. Made my weekend.
SLUGS: To the city department that is in charge of replacing burned out street lamps. After twice reporting the light out at the corner of Hoover and Ward over the past year there still has been no replacement. Very dangerous situation especially as it is at the top of one of the steepest hills in the city.
HUGS: To the astonishing beauty of our autumn mountain sides. And a nod to Suzanne Simard whose Mother Tree research proved that when buddies, 'Decid' and 'Conif' to help each other, our forests flourish!
HUGS: Big hugs to the absolutely dedicated and capable nurses at Nelson and District Home Support Services. Along with your most caring and professional attitudes, you are greatly appreciated in all that you do.
SLUGS: To the cretin who honked and gave me the finger for having the gall to stick to the speed limit on a city street. You need to respect speed limits and get some mental health counselling.
