Letter: Call for tenure to be eliminated

There is something very wrong with our education system. Youth are getting an education that is contributing to the demise of our planet.

There is something very wrong with our education system.  Our youth are getting an education that is contributing to the demise of our planet.

We need new teachers.

We need a new vision so that our youth can be the solution rather than the cause of our problems.

Our education system is failing us.

Let us start to improve it by eliminating tenure from the teaching profession, from kindergarten to the lofty heights of our universities.

We need new blood and new ideas; our very lives may depend upon it.

Eliminate all tenure from teacher contracts.
