I’m on the fence as to whether or not this would work in Nelson.
I lived in Whistler for 14 years. Most of the shops and restaurants are in the “village” where vehicles are not permitted. You may have municipal workers driving their little battery operated vehicle emptying garbage bins. Otherwise, no vehicles. Of course it’s been like that for eons. There are day parking lots. It’s most relaxing to walk about not having to worry about vehicles.
That works for Whistler. May not for beautiful Nelson.
