LETTER: Disappointed in Green Party

RE: BC Greens shun Shadrack

As one who intended to vote for Andy Shadrack (pictured above) were he to have been the Green candidate in the next election, I am disappointed that the party has vetoed his candidacy.

Why would they choose to exclude a well-known local political figure who is energetic and principled?

That the Green HQ won’t make their reason public suggests they are embarrassed by it, and rightly so. Green Party members should choose the candidates, not the party’s backroom boys.
