Re: “No thanks to Burger Month,” Nov. 14
In response to a recent letter criticizing Burger Month, being offered by 22 restaurants in our community: These restaurant owners and staff have offered their time and effort to create 22 varieties of burgers using combinations of ingredients that aren’t usually found in a typical burger.
Besides being a good buy it can be a lot of fun deciding the burger you would like to try. I would like to thank these restaurants and the Nelson Star for offering this event once a year. For those people who enjoy eating a burger, we thank you for burgers that are not the typical fast-food variety.
