RE: LETTER: Low-speed electric vehicles aren’t safe
Unlike a previous letter writer, I welcome and applaud the new electric low-speed vehicle that was approved as safe for city streets by Transport Canada.
These vehicles are also made locally in Vernon. Thank you Kootenay Car Share and the Colombian Basin Trust for adding this amazing vehicle to the car share fleet! This vehicle is safe, fun, gets people talking about electric options and it provides people with an opportunity to try an electric vehicle.
We need cheerleaders not naysayers if we are going to ever mitigate this climate crisis.
