I was very disappointed to learn that our Wednesday Farmers Market on Baker Street has moved to the Cottonwood Falls Park location.
The market on Baker Street is beautiful, beloved and accessible to all. Tourists and shoppers alike enjoy the ambience. Some vendors say they prefer this location as it is better known, definitely more central and financially dependable.
There is no bus service to the Cottonwood Falls Park location, making it difficult for some folks to get there.
I think the City of Nelson has made a bad mistake in moving the Wednesday Farmers Market, and that it should return to Baker Street – the sooner the better.
