Shop local, over the top
I was looking for an item and called The Dollar Store in Nelson. The gal who answered could not fill my needs but she suggested trying Cowan’s Office Supply. I phoned Cowan’s and a gentleman answered and he told me they did not carry what I was looking for. However, he knew that Georama did use what I was looking for and suggested I call them. I phoned out to Georama and they had my item and a good supply in stock.
I was very impressed with how each business supported our local economy and the employees who answered my calls were so helpful and polite. This took the term of “shop local” in my opinion “over the top.”
