Once again our local high school is helping bears get euthanized by their carelessness. This photograph was taken the morning of Sept. 26 outside L.V. Rogers. The Conservation Branch has repeatedly warned the school but they don’t appear to care. They have warned previous administrators as well as the current ones.

I’ve contacted the conservation officer, and as per their instruction we have contacted our bylaw office. They advise the report is hearsay and they can do nothing about it. Meanwhile bears are destroyed frequently. Insecure garbage kills these animals.
