I was appalled to read about A&W spraying bleach on their garbage, and even more shocked at the tone of the article, which never once challenged the horrific practices of yet another greedy corporation. As if selling greasy sawdust burgers to the unsuspecting public wasn’t bad enough

Right now in Nelson we are facing the possibility of cuts to our local bus service. This is at a time where we have seen many changes to the service, including new buses, and hikes in fares.

Dr. Lawe misses the mark

I read with dismay Dr. Andrew Lawe’s letter attacking Adrian Dix’s health care plan. This reply is not political, but I do believe Mr. Dix’s prescription for West Kootenay hospital care has it exactly right.
