The Nelson girl was one of about 40 children to converge on the Nelson and District Riding Club this weekend. The grounds were host to 4-H clubs from around the West Kootenay.

About 30 horses played centre stage as children displayed their learned skills and took lessons.

Campers and horse trailers filled the Blewett Road riding club grounds as families and club members spent the weekend.
