Bonspiel heats up the rink at Nelson Curling Club

The Nelson Curling Club hosted its Combined Bonspiel event Saturday and Sunday.

The combined bonspiel was held Saturday and Sunday at the Nelson Curling Club.

Deanna Cownden and Garry Beaudry’s women’s and men’s rinks each took top honours at the Nelson Curling Club’s Combined Bonspiel on Sunday.

Cownden’s rink includes third Marlo Tedesco, second Michelle Kooznetsoff and lead Heather Gingras, took the women’s A event.

On the men’s side, Beaudry led his rink of third Don Bedard, second Gerry Foster and lead Tom Bassett to victory.
