Dryden Hunt named WHL player of the month

The Nelson native had 24 points in 14 games during January.

Nelson’s Dryden Hunt has been named the WHL’s player of the month.

The Moose Jaw Warriors star had nine goals and 15 assists in 14 games during January.

Hunt, a six-foot, 201-pound forward, has 32 goals and 44 assists in 52 games during his fifth season. His league-leading 76 points are one more than Brayden Burke of the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
