Dryden Hunt signs with Arizona Coyotes

The Nelson native inked a one-year deal

Nelson’s Dryden Hunt has signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Arizona Coyotes.

Hunt, 24, scored three goals and had 12 assists in 63 career games with the Florida Panthers after signing an entry-level contract in March 2016.

The six-foot, 193-pound forward has spent the bulk of his early pro career with the Panthers’ AHL team, the Springfield Thunderbirds.

Hunt scored 13 goals and 16 assists in 35 games last season with Springfield, and has 72 goals and 78 assists over 214 career AHL games.
