Three gymnasts and a snowboarder returned to Nelson with medals following the B.C. Winter Games in Kamloops last week.

Glacier Gymnastics’ Dafni van Hellemond won gold in level seven women’s vault and took a silver in women’s floor. The 13 year old also finished 13th in all-around.

Her teammate Brianne Stefani, 13, also won a gold in level eight women’s floor and was 12th in all-around, while Eden Bellman, 11, earned bronze in level seven women’s beam and was 19th in all-around.

“The girls put in a lot of time preparing to execute a specific competition plan for this event,” said Glacier gymnastics head coach Sandra Long in a statement. “Focusing and following their plan enabled them to go to this highly competitive and stressful event and perform personal best routines.”
