Five Nelson little leaguers on all-star team

The players were selected ahead of provincials next month.

Nelson baseball will be represented among the best little leaguers in BC.

Nelson’s Bryce Sookro, Koa Wintraub, Kelton Forte, Tayten Dewar, Noah Quinn have been chosen to play for the Trail All-Stars little league team, which has already won six straight games together.

The team is holding a burger and beer fundraiser at Jackson’s Hole, 4 to 7:30 p.m. on July 11, for its trip to provincials, July 23 to 31 in North Vancouver.
