Nelson’s Stryder Sutton and Riel Martinez each won titles at the Tacoma Golden Gloves last weekend.

Sutton earned a split decision win against Tacoma’s Martez Holland in the junior B 75-pound division for the title, then won a rematch against Holland the next day by unanimous decision.

Martinez meanwhile defeated Fernando Reyes of Beaverton, Ore., in the junior B106-bound division in a fast-paced fight.

Nelson’s Leah Eberle and Makalu Babott also won titles in walkovers. Eberle was unopposed in the youth girls 119-pound class. She moved up a weight class and lost a close decision to North Vancouver’s Emma Suttle.

Babott meanwhile was unopposed in the junior C 90-pound division.
