L.V. Rogers’ girls volleyball team say they never would have been able to attend provincials earlier this month without a set from Hume Hotel.
The flooding damage to the Coquihalla highway would have scrapped the team’s berth at the AAA high school girls provincials, which kicked off Dec. 9 in Vancouver.
But the team ended up competing thanks to the hotel, which donated flights for the players.
LVR went on to finish 13th overall at the event.
