The Nelson Junior Leafs’ Dustin Johnson is back to work already.

The former Leaf — who came to the squad late in the season from the Victoria Grizzlies — has returned to his BCHL team as it takes on the Nanimo Clippers for a spot in the Coastal semi finals.

Johnson led the Leafs in playoff scoring, picking up eight points during the team’s unsuccessful bid against the Beaver Valley Nitehawks. Since his return to Victoria to fill out the team’s injury-plagued lineup, he’s added another four points in two games to his post-season resume.

The Grizzlies were leading the Clippers 3-1 as the series headed into Game Five Thursday.

Johnson hails from Penticton.
