November can't end soon enough for the Nelson Leafs.
The Leafs lost for the ninth time in their last 10 games on Wednesday with a 6-3 defeat to the Rebels in Castlegar.
Ed Lindsey scored twice for the Rebels (13-8-0), who have won eight in a row. Logan Styler, Nico Sidoni, Jacob Boston and John Moeller each chipped in with a goal apiece.
Charlie Wilkie, Jordan Unger and Dale Howell replied for the Leafs (9-13-2), who continued their trend of outshooting an opponent by a wide margin in a loss.
Castlegar goaltender Jason Mailhiot stopped 41 shots, while at the other end of the ice Devin Allen made 28 saves for the Leafs.
Nelson returns home Saturday to host the Grand Forks Border Bruins.
