Jason Sandhu made 32 saves as the Nelson Leafs beat the Rockets 4-0 in Golden to end their seven-game losing streak.

Andy Fitzpatrick, Jordan Unger, Dash Thompson and Colum McGauley each scored for the Leafs (9-11-2), who hadn’t won a game since Oct. 22.

Rockets (4-18-0) goaltender Owen Sikkes allowed three goals on 26 shots before being pulled at the second intermission for Ruslan Katsnelson, who turned aside five of six shots.

Nelson next visits the Columbia Valley Rockies on Saturday.
